Man how did I miss this video!!!

All I can say is Inspirational! your Umbee are beasts! about how long are they ?
how old are they ? ( just trieing to see what kind of progress to expect, buying some juvies pretty soon at about an inch long or so)

What do you feed them also? sorry for the questions but I am just trying to get as much knowledge as I can , I have to say Umbee are my new favorite fish!

^please answer all of his questions. I don't have Umbees but I wondered the same questions except for the size. I heard you say that on the video. I am really impressed! You have spectacular tanks. I like growing my fish out too. I just hate all of the empty space that comes from trying to grow out aggressive cichlids. My most aggressive are my Festae. I hope my male grows to be big like yours. Thanks for sharing. Hats off to you!

O and I forgot to ask what temp do you keep your umbee tank ?

Once again Amazing set ups ! one day I hope to have such a great collection.

Amazing video, and unbelievable setups. I also love the commentary. Looking forward to more.

The pair are feed Jumbo Krill, pellets from Dainchi,Hikari (bio gold plus) and NLS. I also feed them massivore Hikari food. As for age I think they are in the 3 year range now and are about 16 inches for the male and 12 for the female (she is gaining on the male fast). The temp. of the tank is 80 degrees which is what I keep all my tanks at. Lights are on 13 hours a day and then moonlight led's the rest of the time. Filter is a massive sump 6 feet by 2 feet and I run a uv (36 watt) on the tank as well.
