^^ You're welcome! BTW, look how smart you sound without the ebonics!! ^_~
Yea, everyone who wants to get a piranha for the hype, should come meet Whiplash....he's very shy.....it's oki though.
It might be easier, or more for display purposes that he wants them seperate. I hear everywhere that Pygos tend to make a big deal out of size (in captivity of course) and those Piraya's and Caribes will be so much bigger than the Natts. (considering my guy will only get 8-10") I would be concerned for the little guys!!
we'll get the usual spiel over and done with. Dim your lights, blackwater (peat, driftwood, or extract) to simulate home waters. Current (since they normally live in a river), over filter, decorate however you want, jhust make sure that they have somewhere to stretch their fins and race around. Temp lower 80's means fast growth, but higher aggression, high 70's means slower growth, but it prevents some of the aggression.
Food wise you're looking at white seafoods (white meated fish shrimp, squid, mussels) cichlid pellets or flakes. This will bring out the red on them.
Light environment=light colored fish, dark colored environment= dark colored fish.
hot pink gravel= razzing and amazement of ruby breasted Red Belly. ^_~ (oh yeah, I so pwn!!)
I'm pretty sure that I missed something....so can someone come fill in my gaps?
