Oh.. and def agree with walk the stores and find things you like... I would make a list and idea of how many and what.. and post it up here and people will offer you suggestions and comments on the species to help you decide what may or may not work.

I appreciate those locations because I didn't know where to start for looking at fish in Oshkosh. I will check those out.
I purchase one of those 25 foot water ordeals for filling/vacuuming.

I also purchased some conditioner. I will go and check it out and see the different stuff that's out there.
I am looking for about 10-15 fish. A decent amount to start out with, I won't want to bite off more than i can handle until I get into the groove of it.
I would love suggestions so I can start my search.

I'm looking for the fish to be active and colorful if possible. Not sure how many choices i have with freshwater but to the best of my ability

Such choices!!! I have Bara Sharks, Tiger Barbs, Zebra, and 2 small catfish. I am looking to get something larger and more rare. I'm looking for some options. I know this has been talked about but something fresh so I can take a trip wether its to Milwaukee or not.

what species of catfish did you get? may make a difference in what suggested.. but you might consider one of the small/med species of .CA cichlids with that semi aggressive stock list. a severum might be a nice addition.
