After only one day, and the feeding regime you listed, ammonia will easily be over 2ppm. You need to change the water.

Well IMO I strongly disagree with that, right now atleast.
I will change the water once I get some well water at a friends house, instead of this tap water here.
I'll post back when I do that, or if the red dot on the fish worsens in anyway.

And there is no petco or petsmart where I live and the closest pet store is a 45 min drive away.
So I will see what strips walmart has. Anything above a 0 in ammonia is bad and will require a water change. So if they arent very accurate and rates above a 0 I will do a water change.
I'll also do a ph test.
