 No ;) It is Urophthalmus ;)

Welcome to the forum!! You've got a great collection of fish!! :D Especially love your avatar, great looking pair of johanna! :D You should swing on by the Crenicichla forum...;)

Nice swimmmers you've got there. Take care of them well. Anyway... they look gorgeous ... but they need waaayyy more room. The Guapote should be the first on your list ... I would say a minimum of 125G just for the Jag. If it's a male ... and eats healthy and has some space ... it can reach 20".
Nice Uro too. Hope to have the room to get some too ... someday.
Cheers

so a couple people have suggested putting all the cichlids in one tank. ive tried doing some mixing in the past with the 75 and it didnt appear to go so well. they all start flailing the fins out and puffing out the gills and locking jaws. id love to get them all in a 150g tho. any way to calm them down and not fight each other?? maybe large dithers???

Thanks for the info on the tanks. I'm gonna look into that 150 i think. Also peanut_power, i made a post in the crenicichla forum with the two pikes i have now. im looking for an id on one and i here ur the expert. unfortunately i dont have the johnanna anymore. sigh. they were my 2 favorite fish. id give eveyfish i had to get em back.

Can't say that I am an expert, but I do have an passion for them that is plain to see! :D There are plenty of other members here that help out BUNCHES in the Crenicichla forum. They deserve credit as well. :)

Sorry about the loss of your johanna, they looked like spectacular fish. That female is stunning even from the avatar! :D

Your fish all look great. The next step is to get that jag into a larger tank. He looks like he has a lot of potential.
