Newest Addition

Well everybody..I'm really sorry to say that my Newest Addition has become my first fish keeping loss. Maybe the Ich was too much, the water change % too great, or 84 degrees was too warm, but whatever it was, he succumbed to it.
The really tough part is knowing that as slow as Clown Loaches grow, he was around for quite a while. Sorry everybody!
Here's a picture; I guess he was at 7.5" not 9" (easier to mesure them when they're dead). :(

Oh god, what a shame. The ich had to have come from somewhere. If the other owner had him in the same tank for several years that the ich had to have come from a newly acquired fish/plant/snail/whatever from your tank. Ich doens't lay dormant for years and then strike.
That's so very sad.
