just now while treating the boy which i got 2 weeks ago for some bite wound by the bigger male my suspicion was confirmed. it is suffering from lung infection. its rear is always floating even when i tried to push it down in the shallow water. immediately called up the clinic which i brought the previous adopted FRT to but the vet which i always see is not around. saw another vet which also treats chelonians.
the FRT was injected with 1 dose of Trexofin and i will have to inject it twice daily for the next 5 days.
got some bacidin solution to clean the wounds and another stress vitamin jab to be injected tomorrow. hope it will recover within the week. i wont be at home from 15th to 19th.
