Again i ask other than not watching football ---
What do you do to support the military/law enforcement?
What do you do to support the military/law enforcement?
Hello; I guess I could go back and determine how my support of law enforcement or the military became a part of the discussion in your mind about kneeling during the flag ceremony. I do think I can follow how you get there, but it does not make a difference any more than what the kneelers are protesting about. Neither has anything to do with the flag ceremony itself. It will not surprise me to learn that the kneelers have several different reasons among themselves for staging a protest.Again i ask other than not watching football ---

Hello; I get the freedom part. I do not get the "don't take it personal" part. Its called freedom. Freedom to disagree but not take things personal
Its ok not to have the same views doesnt mean i/we go off the deep end thats what the extreme left/liberals do.
Like we all have to share a hive mind.

I do not care what the protests are about or the side issues such as yours that have arisen. It is the disrespect for the flag which is the symbol of our country during a formal ceremony.
As far as what I do for the police. Other than the general respect I have I only burn a blue light on my front porch at night. I hope the officers who drive by see it and know there is someone who supports them.
As far as the military goes I do not do much. I did try to take care of my father who was a WWII Marine Corp vet. I spent many days taking him to the VA when he got older. I forgave the abuse he inflicted on me as a child after I grew up and began to understand how the war had affected him.
During and after the Vietnam war I befriended some who made it home. I took one who became a friend for years into my home when he needed a place from time to time. I did not join in with those calling the returning troops "baby killers" and such.
None of this makes any difference about the flag ceremony.

hello; I guess you have never had to listen to a fire and brimstone conservative preacher. Trying to insult by comparing us to "extreme left/liberals" misses the mark. This is a pretty straight forward thing. You either want the flag to be respected during the formal anthem ceremony or it is somehow OK for NFL football players while in the uniform of a team to disrespect the flag. That I want the NFL to enforce their very own written rules does not make me a crybaby liberal.
In fact I do not see how your wish for respect of military/law enforcement with the question "What do you do to support the military/law enforcement?" matches your stand that it is OK to keep watching the NFL games. Of any group that flag may stand for, it seems to me the military is right up at the top. The same flag that sometimes drapes the coffins of fallen military or is presented to mothers, fathers, wives, husbands and such at these funerals.
It now seems apparent that you are in company of many with regard to the numbers who have found a way to dismiss the lack of respect for the flag ceremony as far as the NFL goes. So be it, just do not bother trying to convince me to "like" it.
hello; No not exactly OK. I was searching for a way to justify a way to watch some games and clung onto the fact that the Bears and the Cowboys were the only two teams I could get information on whos players were not doing a protest. Seems to me that the total number of actual flag protesters is not so large among the NFL players. I was trying to find a way to see a game on occasion. So is it ok to warch 1 game 2 games maybe 3 ?
Hello; So you threw out a judgment on me "So is it ok to warch 1 game 2 games maybe 3 ?"[/QUOTE] but you do not wish to be judged. It is not a question of "rights". Rights are a different sort of thing. My preference at this point is all the NLF stadium seats be empty and virtually no one watches on TV during the games until these protests during the flag ceremony are stopped by the NFL brass.but you or anyone else do not have the right to look down on me for warching the games just as i dont have the right to look down on you
Well lets see i was told that i suck something because i didnt follow the no watching football thing. Thats taking it personal, thats something i expect from and extreme leftist, and thats something that gets teeth knocked out where i grew up....
