Imma try again. When micheal sam was drafted and shown on tv he sent out two tweets in responds to a tweet "your thoughts on micheal sam being drafted"

OMG.

Horrible.

2 days later hes suspended

Are they crazy ? Why does that player lose his right to an opinion ? He didnt say anything derogatory. Just like sam had a right to celebrate how he saw fit anyone should have a right to say what they see fit

I didn't click on the article but I saw a title that said 50 senators are urging the nfl to change the redskins name


are any native americans offended by the name? or is a bunch of foreigners offended because natives might be offended?

I think it's more rich, white college entitled kids trying to change it. My da doesn't find it offensive (he's half native american) and none of the ones out this way I've talked to find it offensive at all. It could be that the name as a racist term never really made it far west (although my da is from the South) or it could be they just don't find it offensive anymore. Kind of how some of the other ethnic groups have gotten over their racists terms over the years.
 
Glad to see government worried about a 60 year old nfl team name while our country is a damn mess and they're getting ready to ram Obama care down our throats.

Honestly is varies. I've seen Native American groups offended and I've seen many who are not. It's prob easier just to do it regardless of who, what, when, where and why is offended. It's clearly defined as a racial slur. Really all I need to know.
