in Canada hurr, hockey is huge, everyone knows someone who plays or plays themselves.
Most the guys in the NHL are over 6' and 200 pounds.
Many guys were born to scrap, so they play hockey as an enforcer.
I've seen many brawls where the benches clear in hockey.
I've been in to bench clearing brawls in hockey.
I'm 6'2 170 pounds, and im the small guy on my team.
SO go figure.
If that is really the nhl fight of the year then that's weak. I have seen way better. I'm assuming the season just started? (don't watch it) After all the hockey fights i've seen on youtube, i'm sure another fight will out do this one, assuming the season just begun.
The bashing is simply amazing. I love ANY SPORT THAT IS COMPETITIVE. The only one that puts me on the wire is soccer, because they are bred to be crybabies......buuuuut, the competition is entertaining none the less. I'm guessing the ones that are hating on hockey have never been to a game. I finally went a few weeks ago to a Missouri State game, and was hooked, and this is just college. I've been to every home game since. It is right there with basketball for nonstop action and stamina requirements. Baseball, football, though I love them both, have really no need for stamina, because you're sitting down half the game. I tip my hat to hockey players. It is among the "man" sports. And seeing that perfect assist in front of the net is pretty sweet.
