Nifurpirinol = Ray safe?

I cannot get my hands on Binox anytime fast enough. If Nifurpirinol safe? It is found Furanase, by Aquarium Products. Otherwise I am gonna have to go with Furan 2.

Nifurpirinol is toxic to scaleless fish.. I don't think I'd risk the stingrays to this.

I tried furan 2 and found my rays stopped eating and where having problems breathing while using it. I didn't finish the treatment because of this and would not reccommend it.

The largest of the 4 has the rot on her back fins, just as CSX described. It is not horrible, it is barely noticeable, but I want to nip this quick before it gets worse.

How about kanamycin? That should do it right? I have used it on a Tigrinus before.

Nic - what is the dosing on that stuff? how much do I need to buy? I can't find the info on how many gallons a 24 pack will treat... info on the dosing regiment will be very helpful so I know how much to order.

IDK, maybe it is normal for a ray to have a little rawness on the edge of their fins, from pushing off the sand all day long.

If it was me I'd be safe and get the Binox ordered... If it's needed asap have them overnight it.
