ok thanks im getting rdy to put it in. Denitrate the guy said could be placed in my penguin 350 behind the c filter.
Carbon does nothing. That won't help my well water maybe it would help with fish waste and overfeeding for other tanks but my problem is my water source.

The De Nitrate i got was from pets plus and the maker is Seachem. I thought the same thing but the guy said it would work and he was helpful in the past. I will find out in two days i guess. If it doesn't im bringing wet rocks back lol. won't adding denitrate also mess up the bio filter? If i take it out won't it mess with the tanks bio load on how it deals with ammonia and nitrite??
I up for trying anything because before adding the pothos plant to the one tank and denitrate to the other tank i did a 15g water change. Then i tested the water and it was at 60 in nitrates and 0 ammonia and 0 in nitrites. Then tested my tap water and the test results looked the same 60. Im testing right because i maintain my dads red belly piranha tank and his nitrates are usually 10. So my kit is right.
