any help its been 2 month and my nitrate still at 5.0ppm my ammonia and nitrite is at 0. I do 3 days water change. any filter media that can lower my nitrate down?

What's you're stock and tank size? I've used nitra zorb and purigen when I had a spike in nitrates and it did the job.

You'll always have some nitrates, 5ppm is fine, anything below 20 is fine as said^^^^

As others have posted, 5ppm of nitrate is excellent. However, unless you have plants, nitrate will steadily creep up, so keep up with the water changes........50% w/c per week at the very minimum......more is even better. Yes, there are plenty of gimmicky stuff on the market for ridding nitrate, but they usually don't work well enough, if at all, to be effective. W/c is your best bet....that's why so many of us go through the hassle.
