Nitrate is still 5.0ppm?

You'll know your nitrates are zero when your plants start to yellow. Try some fast growing floating plants with maybe some planted Vals and Java Moss all are very easy to grow. Make sure the floating plants receive adequate lighting and watch the nitrate levels fall.

I just have fluorescent light. will plants do oky with fluorescent light?

Or relax and enjoy what you have now. 5ppm is good water
