Bougainvallea Vine
Succulents
Money tree
Hindu rope
Vanilla Bean Orchid Vine
Clivia
Ivy English
Cactus
Annuals
Air Plant (Tillandsia)

Etc...

top floating plants are your best bet other then pothos that I know of. pothos can literally suck 10-15ppm nitrate per plant depending on size. Price per plant 5-10$, can't beat that biggie.

Etc...

Cactus, annuals and aloe vera for sure. There is a plant in georgia known as kudzoo that is good for that too, although I don't think you can import it as it's spread is epidemic.

Find some Vietnamese spinach. Grows like a weed and as a side benefit you can eat it. Sucks up nitrates and can't be killed.

Pretty and Flowering weren't in original post so it would have been difficult to know that was the priority here.

Chrysanthemums are the way to go then. As a bonus they also will improve indoor air quality and help ward off mosquitoes.

Well not JUST that. Like clivia and variegated hindu rope (hoya) look really pretty without the flowers. So long as it looks really cool.

Was there ever any data found on duck weed. I debated it tell i found out it was a questionable legality in Maine
