Nitrate??????

Do a big water change! Im going through something similar right now with one of my tanks. I did two 50% water changes the last two days and my Nitrates dropped significantly. Now Im waiting to see how quickly it builds up. If all my other parameters are good is this simply a symptom of overstocking? What other measures will keep nitrates down?
You cant argue with pufferpunk woman she knows it all reef scape, just go on RC and disagree with her and some of the others and its WWIII, she must have an endless supply of salt to do all her water changes. They told me last year that I had to do these outlandish percentage water changes on my tank, six months later my readings are exactly the same with small water changes weekly so every tank and every water isnt the same
