I think that the fish waste is the worst.... remember waste untimately turns to nitrates and if you change a smaller amount everyday you won't have the high level to lower level swing. I'm going to adjust my daily change so I have almost 0 nitrates.
Remember in nature fish never experiance ammonia, nitrites or nitrates.
