That I am not sure. I did the test before I added any conditioner. So whatever reading the ammonia was showing, was what was in the water before the prime was added. I did however condition it every time Ive done a water change this week. Today was the only day I didnt do it only because Ive done it the past 6 days and really am not a fan of adding any chemicals, even conditioner to the tank..
