NLS 10mm Mega Fish Formula

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My bichirs eat them with no issues. 10-18" fish. It took a couple of feedings for them to get the hang of them, now they just chew a couple times and swallow.
Okay thanks! I guess I will order them sometime next week. :)

In a taste test my bichirs prefer massivore and i end up removing the nls. People can argue all they want over which is better and complain about smelly water but with proper filtration and a large water volume i only notice a slight smell if i go too long without a water change or overfeed. I think the nls pellets are too hard and stick with hikari

NLS is hard due to it's density. It has a lot of nutrients. I haven't fed my Bichirs, hikari for about 1-1.5 years. :) I hope starving 4-5 days will help them eat NLS. Hikari cost too much for me to afford. Tilapia and smelts has been a lot cheaper. :)

Another option if you don't want to do pellets is frozen silversides. For a full grown poly. they are the right size to eat already and don't have to chop them up

I wish there is a device that dice tilapia into cube. It would make feeding a lot easier and painless.

My best advice get the 6mm pellets.

So one Kevin to another what do you feed?

I feed Hikari Gold sinking occasionally...no stinking in my water.
