NO FEDOR FOR UFC

Please explain this more? and where you got the info? I've never heard of this. But I don't know much of anything about the UFC contracts.

I don't have a link, I can try and find one later, but during the discussions with Fedor, and with Randy in the past, one of the issues that came up is that say you have a 3 fight deal with the UFC, on your third fight you get a championship shot, and win. So, now you have the belt, and really no contract. Now the UFC is in a tough spot because they have to sign you, or let their champ walk to another company.
So, the UFC puts a clause in (all?) fighters deals where if they are to obtain a title, the contract extends, I think one fight at a time, until you lose your title, that way they never lose their champ to someone else.

It sounds similar to the options clause Don King had in his contracts with his fighters.
