NO FEDOR FOR UFC

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Funny how all those who argue about washed up champ victories that Fedor has dont apply it to Lesnar.... who has he fought in their prime? truth is the HW division has always lacked luster.... unlike boxing in its hay day..... anyone around 6'2" who cannot cut down to 205 is usually overweight.... unless your a genetic freak like brock....

One thing everyone is forgetting is Fedor is still Sambo champ and has been for a long time, and he has been "Sambo-ing" it up this whole time on the side and will not even consider a contract that won't let him continue to compete in Sambo. That is very good practice considering Sambo is basically all he really uses once he gets in the ring. He is training in Muay Thai and others, but look up some of his Sambo vids and tell me that isn't almost the only style he ever brings to the ring.

It hasn't even really been that long since he had a good fight, Arlovski wasn't too far back and he is an extremely capable fighter who is just unfortunately developing an extreme case of the ol' glass chin. In fact, being as his only notable loss prior to fighting Fedor was against the 6'8" giant sylvia...you might say Sylvia started the glass chin and Fedor finished it.

Additionally, Fedor was willing to fight Barnett even though he knew there was like a 50% chance Barnett would have "that new stuff", get by undetected, and come at him all roid raged like the T-800....which you could consider very good practice for lesnar LOL.

are you freaking kidding me? Fedor is the best in the world. Name one ranking system that has Lesnar rated over Fedor...not that I take them verbatim
who has the belt.??? who is the champ??? can you figure that out ... that belt makes him the Heavy Weight Champion OF THE WORLD!!! there is not another organization that can compete with the UFC so ... he is the best in the world as long as he holds the belt .. and if you would read my post rather then just shooting off at the mouth you would see that i think that fedor would win that fight hands down ..

but to be the lb for lb best fighter ... BUT NOT CURRENTLY FIGHTING!!!

it would be like a pro basketball player only playing 1/3 the of the season and still saying he is best in the league .. and those 1/3 games he does play .. are all vs college teams .. that stats would look good .. but he would not have nearly as many as the people who are playing every game ..

he has 3 fights in the past 3 years .. and none of them where BIG fights .. so .. for him to reclaim the best in the world status .. he would need to fight BIG fights .. which he would win ... but you thinking he can still be the best in the world for years and years without proving it .. i think that is wrong ... you have to have the belt .. and defend the belt to be champ in my eyes ..and as it stands .. he has no belt

I still can't believe that people are actually trying to compare Brock's record to Fedor's.

I have noticed that those who are behind Brock right now, when they mount their defense they always say, "and for those of you who hate on Brock" or something like that. I think this proves that your personal feeling are getting in the way of what's really going on. I have not said anywhere on here that Brock is a bum, or he doesn't belong in the UFC or anything like that, yet that's how the guys who back Fedor are portrayed.

It's simple, you may not think that Fedor has had enough fights over the past couple of years, fine. But, at least he has won all of those fights. Brock has 5 fights. 5. And he has already lost. The argument about who would win in a fight between those two is a valid one, because we haven't see it, but you cannot say that Brock is the current best fighter (heavyweight) in the world. Not when the other guy (Fedor) also has a belt, and his record is FAR superior to Brocks.

Brock - 4-1, hasn't lost since early 2008
Fedor - 30-1, hasn't "lost" since late 2000

Just remember, 5 fights. Thats it. 5. He does look great so far, but just give it a minute before you crown him the best in the world. Let him at least get to a third the amount of fights Fedor has had, and won.

Also, for those who may think Fedor is past his prime, he was born 1 year before Brock.

Again, it is kind of interesting that you call others UFC fanboys, and yet you recognize no other mma companies other than the UFC.

Me too, you should stop right now as you are the only one I have seen consistantly do it to back up your view. We aren't comparing the fight record. What we are saying is he hasen't fought anyone in their prime in years and has no belt. Therefore he is not the best currently until he signs and proves it.

Brock avenged his loss and I am sorry, say all you want about Randy at 40+, but Arlovski and Sylvia aren't on the same plane. Just look at Sylvia's last fight and the people Arlovski "Destroyed" in a crappy company. There is no comparrioson between them. Fedor = Easier fights as of late, Brock = better fighters and Heath for those who slam him is a leggit fighter thats always delivered.

Fedor should sell his share of M1 for the $50. it's worth and just sign, end of story and problem solved. Fire the agent who is more worried about himself then his client and do the right thing for him. Sign with the best, most successful company in the world. Enough said.;)

All Fedor has beaten are X UFC champs that are out of their Prime as of late. I don't like Lesnar, but he has beaten fighters closer to their Prime as of late. If anything, Fedor has plenty to prove as the best fighters are in the UFC. So anyone going to M1 would be a waste of time and a joke.

Brock beat some Korean dude, a 46 year old man, and is 1-1 vs Mir.

1) Who has Brock fought in their prime?
2) Are you sure Fedor doesn't have a belt?
3) Is Machida the best Light Heavyweight in the world?
4) Is using fighters records an unacceptable way of comparing them? If so, what do you use?

Shhhh, apparently the fact that he fought them in a shorter amount of time means that he is the baddest man on the planet.

This is sad too because I am normally the one who is defending Brock to the mma purists who don't think he belongs in the sport....

you have a language barrier there too, and his manager speaks both english and russian..... how convenient for him.

Yeah Fedor doesn't speak a lick of english. I don't think he understands it either.
