No improvement

And the hits keep on coming. I was able to snap a pick of the underbody today. It seems to be infected there as well, with a slight fuzz on the very edge of the fin. I did noticed when she was placed into the tank that there were some white spots on her underbody. I'm not sure if this was due to the transport or the previous keeping conditions. I couldn't get a better pick then this due to the fact that she hardly moves (almost as bad as my wolf fish..lol). Official count 2 weeks 1 day without food.

This isn't really looking like the same thing as my infection. Part of it looks like ammonia burn and the other areas look like it may be scraping itself on something. Is it scratching at all? Does it seem to want to stay on the sides of the tank more than the bottom? Is it twitching at all?

sand bed looks a little too deep....

I didn't know a bed could be too deep. Should I take a bunch out? Only used 2 (50lb.) bags. The ray has been riding on the side of the glass and cupping his back section up off of the sand. Sooo Scared I'm going to lose my first ray!

Ok, I took at least half the sand out and added it to my 90 gallon for the wolf fish (wanted to do anyways). Never got an answer about salt or meds. Should I be adding the same amount of salt after every water change? Should I take a more drastic approach based on the pictures or wait it out with the salt? I greatly appreciate all the help that everyone has given so far.

You probobly aren't going to be able to find the Binox anywhere near you so I would order it NOW.... And hopefully get it here by the weekend. IF you choose NOT to use it you're out $25-$30. IF you decide by the time it arrives to use it, that may save your ray. That will buy you a couple days to research and ask around and decide if you are going to use the meds when they arrive.... IF it was me I would.

There's plenty of cases of successfull Binox treatments..... For now like everyone's mentioned.... KISS.... Get the temp where it needs to be, salt, waterchanges....

ADD the salt back in when you do waterchanges....
