Yes, I've been hastily removing as much of the sand as possible. I've completely filled my 90 gallon tank with sand and removed another 20lbs of sand into the trash. That part is the deepest right now because I don't want to stress her out by forcing her to move. She's been in that same spot for hours!

Not sure if the tail is healing up or just spreading further in. I've been doing 50% water changes every day for the past several days. I have noticed some stringy spider web looking things dangling off of his skin. You should be able to see it in two different spots in the second picture.

Started treating with Triple Sulpa last night. Too bad the package only treats 100 gallons! I guess I forgot to realize that not everyone is a Monster fishkeeper. I read on here that it's pretty strong stuff so I guess that's an upside to the situation though. So I'll have to go check around today to see if anyone has any available (doubtful). Oh, 3 weeks 2 days without food.

So I have seen no improvement in the tail as of yet. I snapped a new picture of it and it looks as though skin is hanging off with some sand attatched to it? idk, maybe it's trying to heal? She still hasn't eat either, 2 weeks and counting.
Here's the picture of the tail:

Currently she is in a new wider tank, with no substrate, and an fx5 filter. Her bottom disc has completely healed up, she is eating like a pig, but the tail section has still not improved. Should I try the triple sulpa again?
