Noisy Check Valve

You will always lose efficiency with a check valve. More friction head (due to necessary constriction) and pump needs to work harder so higher pump specification (higher initial cost) and operational costs. Not too mention the real risk of failure.

It's very simple to remove the check valve requirement but I'm sure you have your own reasons to keep it.

Agree. I actually dialed my pumps back a bit after I removed my check valves. The failure aspect is real. The check valves simply don't last.
