Non stop swimming......

My corys did the spastic elevator dance from time to time - mainly when they were young. Always amusing wondering when they'd tire out after having been at it for 8+ hours. They're currently several months older, healthy, fat, and seem quite happy.

My dempseys rove around in a pack. They seem to enjoy the top of the tank at night. When they're pissed off about not getting crickets / convict fry, they'll spend all night biting the surface - making nice loud snapping noises to prove they're not going anywhere. -_-

My female JD does this. Whenever Im downstairs at night she is always swimming up and down side to side. I think when the tv and lamp go off and it's completely dark she goes to sleep, because when I come down early in the morning she is always asleep on the bottom of the tank. She is a about a year and a half and she has always done this.

I don't think you have anything to worry about.
