LOOKING FOR A PLECO FOR MY 75 GAL SA COMMUNITY TANK. DO ALL PLECO GROW HUGE? ARE THEIR ANY THAT GROW 5 IN. OR LESS I JUST NEED IT TO DO WORK ON MY ALGE AND I ALSO WANT IT TO LOOK NICE. ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE AND WHERE CAN I GET IT. THANKS

Bristlenose only get about the size you are wanting. I like them. They look like they have little roots growing out of their heads.
Petsmart sells rubbernose plecos for like $5, they only get up to about 5". I have problems with brown algae and my rubbernose pleco does a good job of keeping everything clean.

That being said my rubbernose does clean algae off of my rocks pretty well, but he also gets fed algae wafers & cucumber at night a few times a week. I have also heard that bristlenose do a pretty good job of actually cleaning/eating algae in tanks.
yeah dont buy plecos because you want them to clean your tanks, they dont do it well enough to justify having one for that reason. they also need a diet of vegetable matter, zuchinni, algae wafers, pumpkin, green leafy veggies.
