NOODLING!!!

How do you guys cook them?...Catfish is about my favorite fish to eat,I'd be a little scared but I would try noodling maybe once.

Noodling is a cool sport when not all the fish are kept. Practice catch and release!

My granddad was a noodler from southern Illinois. I have one pic of him with an 87lb cat he noodled(I have to find it). He said that it wasn't the biggest he had caught. His brother had just got a camera that day(1940's) so he took the pic. Grandpa said the cat was 12" between the eyes :WHOA:..

I'll see if my dad can send me a copy of the pic so I can post it for you guys.

dayumn!! 87? ive caught one that big on rod and reel before. and we kept the lil ones cause we have a big family and plus it was spring break. so we had other family members over. lots of mouths to feed!!!

Here is the pic guys :grinno:!!!!!!!!! For size reference, my Grandpa was about 6'3" tall and weighed between 280 and 300lbs in the picture. I can go into more detail on how he noodled this beast if you all are interested :D..

I think at least some of us are and it wouldn't exactly be derailing so why not.;)
