Northeast Native Tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah, Jonah's Aquarium is great to deal with - shipping isn't outrageous and and when I ordered from them they included extras. They did just get Musky in, but I have never seen then stock them before.

Unless you have a titanic tank with a chiller on it don't do the musky. Unless you plan on eating it.

Unless someone has the proof, I can't see musky being kept long term in captivity. The ones I've seen always look so so sickly.

I just ordered 9 fish off jonahs. Great to deal with. Mark is on top of his game there. Smooth transactions and awesome customer service. I ordered two walleye to grow out in my 310, I'll let yal know how they end up doing.

I recommend a chiller for the summer.

why add more walleyes to your tank? The tank will looks like an empty tank all times. I have a walleye here and the tank is....just empty and lifeless. At least I add a yellow bullhead and he is more lively than that walleye.

is your walleye alone? I'm trying to figure out what I could use as tank mates and so far my yellow perch are going to be the only ones I'm trusting them to be with lol.

That walleye.....murdered a black bullhead, a yellow perch and some sunfish. That black bullhead is bigger than the walleye but I caught him in act, chewing and shaking that bullhead around. Yellow perch he murdered is just two inches smaller than the walleye. That walleye thought the perch is dinner for him. I'm introducing some big perch to him at this moment but I have a glass barrier between them. Like I said, walleyes are territorial when it comes to sharing same resting spot. My yellow bullhead have scars from the walleye.
