Polys get mislabeled all the time. I don't know if it from the people catching them or on the wholesaler end or the retailers. I was in an lfs I don't go to very often and they had 2 different polys mislabeled and it was a big issue for 1 it was labeled Palmas Palmas I saw it in the tank it was definitely a lapradei the other was labeled as delhezi and were most definitely endlicheri. I purchased a ropefish from them and the manager was telling me how crazy these are and I said oh I know all about them and showed him my pond. At that point he was like oh did you see the other polys I have? I said yeah the mislabeled ones? We argued the point for a minute and I showed him pics of a Palmas Palmas and a lap and then said those are endli not dels he said yeah I know but they are sent in that way so we sell them that way.....I said well if you misinform your clients and sell them a fish that could easily hit 28" and they only have room for 14" isn't that a problem? He said not for me....I don't make the rules I just sell fish. This is why I don't go there. At the one lfs I occasionally help out at even when I was just a customer if I saw something that wasn't right they would look, confirm and if I was right thank me and fix the issue. This guy just wants to further the problems. So it starts at collection? Maybe, then it's just common laziness from then on out.
Weeksi are slow growers and from what I've heard are pretty mellow. It's one I've not owned. Having bichir worms most likely means it was wild caught (I don't know if those are captive bred yet) so should attain as close to full size as possible. So yeah depending on your tank size may need a bigger one.
I don't know if they are going to do anything. Hope they do something. I have dealt with them in the past when I had salt. The first order had 2 DOA and they gave me credit for my next order after jumping through the hoops of taking pics and sending emails. So with $20 in credit I spent another $200 to have half of the shipment die this time. I fought with them for a couple weeks I just wanted a refund no store credit. You had to spend x dollars to get a better price on shipping which to me doesn't make sense as you order more the weight goes up shouldn't it cost more? I mean if its packing material I'll pay for that. Usually it costs more to ship a heavier package then a lighter one. Anyway they still have my money. I never did use the credit or order from them again.
[/QUOTE yeah it's just crappy and then people don't want to listen to you. Gonna have to upgrade eventually it's a 125 gal. I dont think they are going to do anything they didnt when they sent me her sick
