Its a 55gal set up with with many fake plants and mostly light substrate probably 25% river rocks with different sizes.

And I know these loaches will be able to bury themselves because the tank they are in has the same gravel(substrate.

I think it really depends on the BP's personality ...or how hungry he may be.. Or purchasing one that is a larger in size... When I started this hobby and knew nothing about it, I would put all sorts of small community fish with mine.. I don't remember them being to interested in them... Do you own either one already??

yes, I do own both. They are in separate tanks right now, but I do own both. My BP is(I think fully grown) the pet store had him for a while and he was just to cute so I had to buy him :) And I wanted dojo loaches out of curiosity. The are really cool fish. They remind me of weenie dogs. lol

I mean the size of the dojo ! if it can't fit in the mouth of the BP, its good ! also BP are not very aggressive so the tank like that should be OK!

The dojo are a little smaller than a fat ink pen (girth) and probably 3-5 in long.
