Not that it matters much, because the guy was a jerk, but if Lowes is like The Home Depot, there are two saws. There is a vertical panel saw that is for cutting plywood, and there is a circular saw that is for cutting 2X4s and such. Associates don't change the blades, and there are strict policies on what you can and cannot cut.

Yeah the guys that work at Lowes can be that way. You can either get one like you got or get a really nice one who will go head over heals to get what your wanting.
My brother is a supervisor at construction sites and he told his wife a few things he needed while they were there so they could get the stuff faster while he got other things. Well needless to say she found someone, asked if they had w/e it was and he was like thats dumb you don't need anything like that, your a woman and all this other crap. It was to the point onetime she was almost in tears how they were. They do it to her all the time. Of course my brother being who he is didn't put up with that when he found out. But that guy isn't working there anymore =) My brother is good friends with the main person for Lowes there. That guy sure didn't know who he was messing with!

I know that, and I totally have no problem with people who are polite and inform me of why they can't help me. If that was the case in this situation, he didn't even explain that it was. He just got rude and in my face. If he had come into my work, I would have apologized and explained why I couldn't do what he wanted, instead of just saying "No, my computer can't do it.
