Unless that was a typo 225 gallons is not big enough for a full grown nurse shark. The shark would get bigger than the tank!

If nothing else, try the New York Aquarium. At 2 ft, it's too small for the shark tank, but there's room in the Glover's Reef exhibit.

I would be very surprised if any public aquarium would even consider taking this. I know the Shedd in Chicago absolutely won't even touch pet fish.

Hope you find her a good home though. Nice to see someone thinking of the animals best interest for once.
