Hello; Sorry to keep throwing in examples from my teaching career but perhaps there is some analogy. I discovered when having hands on activities in a science lab as he decades unfolded that respect for my person changed. At the end of my time when it was clear there was little to no consequence for poor student behavior my person was not safe from disrespectful acts.
One example. I had a hands on activity going it which some of the material was a dye. During the activity I went to a pair of students to assist them with the instructions. With my back to some other students the dye was put on my clothes which I discovered later. The clothes were ruined as proper school wear and became rags or work on a car clothes.
Not a terrible thing but to me a clear change in the attitude of society toward a public service person. I imagine the "punks" throwing water at uniformed cops are having big laughs about now. I also imagine the acts of disrespect will escalate toward the cops as they did for school teachers.

I like how they say in the video its not illegal to throw water, but what about the damages it does to any electronics such as mobile phones / cameras etc...

I mean wouldnt that be classified as criminal damage? Coz i know i’d be pretty peed off if my phone was damaged because some random kid decided to drench me for no reason...

Just shows how stupid they are by saying it is not illegal. While throwing the water is not assault, it IS disorderly conduct, and throwing the bucket for sure is assault. Then again if they are stupid enough to disrespect police officers like that I wouldn't expect them to have a basic grasp on the law either.

You cod take this a step further. How do they know it was just water... even though it was. I could assume there could be urine, chemicals or any other u known substances mixed in those buckets. The moron on the video is simply that... a moron

It's all on video, so I expect they will go pick these "kids" up one at a time and "run them through the system."

I'd suggest a little waterboarding demonstration.

Crazy...the disrespect. Throughout my life it's been a love/hate relationship with the police(hate them when I'm driving, Love them the rest of the time). But I've always shown them respect. If I was those cops, I would have arrested everyone of them.

Caps in titles is bad? I've never understood how it means you are mad or angry. As far as getting attention. I thought that was the whole point of this forum is for people to read what you post. True we don't need every single post with caps but every once in awhile isn't bad. If it was followed by !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! , then it might have waved a flag.
