I saw this pleco at a store by my house that Vince led me on. I have never seen a pleco this beautiful. The picture does it no justice. The thing is huge too. 12"+. It's body is gold like a gold asian aro and has orange-yellow ting in his fins and he has a huge dorsal fin. I am thinking of buying it but they want $700.00!!!!!!!!!!!!! They had it labeled as Postomus Lutheus, but I did a google search and found nothing. The closest thing I can come up with is a L024. They said it was very, very rare and are usually only sold in Asia. I am trying to talk him down in price. Man this thing is awesome. What do you think it is?

I would not be surprised if the miss labeled it. I bought some "pink tailed sharks" from my pet store, I do not shop there anymore, and I did a google search and found out that they were flipping barbs. I forget the exact name, but some pet stores tick me off.
 
Where is the store located at, the city,street, and name of the place, do they carry a lot of selection??
 
That is a really cool pleco. Hopefully you can talk him down.
 
Nice fish, but not worth $700.00!
 
It kind of looks like a Xanto, either way its nice.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy it for 700, that's why it's not in my tank right now. I am trying to talk him down. As for the albino L155, it might be rarer, but albino pleco's I think are ugly. This pleco has alot of color and swims alot and that IMO is worth more than a big white blob with pink eyes.
 
You could get a handful of L046 Zebras, much better pickup IMO.
