Here is an idea,
how about everytime someone calls someone else a name (idiot was a mild one), they go ahead and post their address and phone #, as well as their real name, after all, if one is going to get personal why hide behind the anonimity of the web. If it is so important as to cause one to lose their manners than why is it not important enough to stand bald faced before the world in defense of that rudeness?

Good idea. OR we could just hang them for crimes against humanity:D

Crimes against fishmanity? No, that just sounds wrong.

People would be happily standing in line to be punished that way.

sorry to keep this thread alive, as I know it pains some of you, but there are a few things that have bothered me and I think this is the place to say it.

We all love fish. Most of the people that come on posting about their new fish just want to tell people who know what they're talking about. I understand. I can't go to my work and say: "look at this new fish I got". So that kind of stuff gets posted here.

What bothers me, is that the 2nd person to post, almost always asks: "what size tank is it in?". That suks. Because then you know that it's going to turn into a hundred posts about how that fish will never live in that tank, blah blah blah.

I understand if someone has problems with a fish and they ask for help, and the question of tank size comes up. It's those who hunt for people who have a big fish in a small tank for the purpose of flaming them that bothers me. I think this was the original posters problem too.
