I'm just saying octos being bought are like people buying sharks. Too many times you get "I thought it looked cool, so I bought it." I think animals that get 99% of their sales that way need to be taken off the market.

well any animal that has some part of it (dander, venom, just contact) touch you can cause an allergic reaction.
why would it not be the same for octopi? cleaning the tank one day and all of a sudden your throat closes up....not my idea of fun.

He's looking for information before he buys. He's researching before a purchase, which is wise, yes?
