Tells me it would be a lot of work to have an absolutely awesome monster, but in the end too much work!

They are quite intelligent and a lot of fun to play with but gee, is it worth it?

there worth it to someone who likes octopus and can accept there expenses and short life span and willing to experiment with breeding them as well for captive purposes.

Indeed, my intention is not to poo poo those who choose cephalopods, simply that it is not my thing.

I think having an octopus in my tank would be awsome, but I know I would be too much work for me. My hope is that someone who thinks they are cool realizes how much work they are and would think seriously before buying one. They are, rather intelligent, living creatures after all!

i would love an octopus but i am currently out of the saltwater hobby.

sweet! i hope you document it in a thread:popcorn:
got a species in mind? how about a bluering to go along with that tattoo? :D

the blue ring is part of the plan but the tank itself will be the focal point I will document it with pictures and all that good stuff but not sure when I can get to it might be in summer
