Nice octo. I believe that it's a bimac. I don't know how long you're gonna keep him alive in the little plastic container though. It needs an actual tank for itself. And duct tape will be your best friend with keeping octos. Too bad they only have about a 1-1.5 year life span. You can go on TONMO.com for a lot of good cephalopod information. It's a really cool forum.

Line the inside top of it's tank with AstroTurf or indoor/outdoor carpet. they are very hesitant to crawl across it. It needs it's own tank of around 50 gallons to really show it's stuff. If you can interact with it on a regular basis it will be a great if short lived pet.
yeah i let him out of the container of course haha, just took some pics of him inside cause i figured it would be easier to get shots of him that way. I know that they are really only cool when they eat, i just figured id give one a shot. and I already knwo about tonmo its a great site.
