i went to the pet store today for some feeders and saw two fish that looked out of place. i grabbed one but i guess it was to small because my small oscar (3") ate it before i could get a picture. the biggest one looked alot like this

any clue what it is?

are they at all worth keeping in a tank? i got the smallest one thinking if it grows out cool, but if it gets eaten thats alright to. they had a 3 1/2" one there too. all in the feeder fish tank

One mans trash is another mans treasure.

I would go ahead and use it as a feeder. But i use endler live bearers as feeders as well. And I see articles about people freaking out about keeping them as pets.

i do want to start breeding feeders, but for now i get feeders from petco. they rarely have oddballs in there feeder tank, like tadpoles or these things (whatever they are)

it think it looks pretty cool. i would keep it.

this fish resembles the rasboras, but i couldn't find one that looked like this one. i will see if i can snag him up next time if he is still there.
