oddball jewel cichlid

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
the grey or light colors is from stress, he won't get color until he's comfortable in his surroundings and/or is breeding.

the dark color on part of his face is from and injury.. it may or may not disappear. it probably will always be there at least in part, i doubt it will ever go away completely.

That's awesome!!! I'd keep this guy too, never seen a piebald jewel before.

This trait is more common in unwell fish, Ive seen it in largemouth bass, bluegill, catfish, guppy, cichlids, angelfish, saltwater angelfish, lots of fish I can named can have this half face marks. Most of time this mark's gone when the fish feel better.

In short words, this is NOT piebald jewel cichlid.
