I had a least killifish that recently out of the bag from shipping and it has that mark..probably the box was thrash around and the mark disappeared a month later. Same thing with my bluegill that I caught on hook and he got injured and the mark suddenly there. The mark disappeared next month later.midnight;2460636; said:still an oddball and not normal lol
I believe that your oddball jewel will recovered from injury and become normal. just what exactly how you caught this jewel cichlid? Cast net?

im thinking of putting it in a tank to try to get it to breed and see if it changes
i recently saw a thread with a peacock bass with a half black face also. i believe modestman shed some light on it. gonna see if i can find it for you!
