oddball stocking in a 10g

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Fishes that I've always liked and would keep in a 10g. :)

Butis butis, Aka: "Crazy fish or "Duckbill sleeper".

Phago, Aka: "Pike characin"

Get a crayfish. There's plenty of kinds out there. I caught one out of a stream, it got up to 5" and they're wicked aggressive. It ate commets, tuffys and literally anything else.

I have one ^^. It is terribly aggressive, but It's not interesting enough. It has its own 10G, so It's not going anywhere soon ;).

So List so far?

Bumblebee gobies + kuhli's. (Any Problems and Concerns please voice !).

OR

Dwarf Puffers ( Any specifics, And Problems and Concerns please voice ! ).

So.... Here is what I keep in my oddball 10G

if you have the money, keep a turtle :D (but you have to upgrade as it grow), so I am NOT recommending of you buying a turtle ^^

and

as for fish ... you can keep long fin albino bushnose pleco (they looks unique and cute) and stays small ^^

;)
What kind of turtle is that? Tough to tell from the pic, but it looks kinda like a pig nose. I've got 2 Northern Diamond Back Terrapins. LOVE these little guys. They're super friendly.

About the 10G, I have a 3 gallon with a ton of dwarf shrimp like Cherry Red Shrimp, Diamond shrimp, orange crystal shrimp and Zebra shrimp. I've also got 10 feather fin rainbow and 6 Galaxy danios and a pair of Golden Kili's in there. Yes it's WAY over stocked but I do 1 gallon water changes twice a week and they've been doing great for about a year now (knock on wood).

Kk, looks life puffers then :D! I have a steady supply of snails, and ghost shrimp so feeding isn't terribly hard.

I'll check at lfs tomorrow.
