mines doing well. how often do u guys recommend i feed him, hes about 2" right now.
I'm here to help. I think I've contributed some decent info over the years in regards to some of these fish. I'm tired of being lured into offering up advice and then having to avoid confrontation cause someone has no respect for other's opinion.... Now "My shoal's going to get a visit from an Armatus in 3 months" Sounds like I'm way outta line huh?
If you're just going to argue why even bother asking? There's a reason this crap keeps happening. I have no problem with 95% of MFK.... It's the 5% combination of people not respecting others, fishing for an argument, talking shiat behind a keyboard, or just wasting time cause they are too lazy to search.
Anyways...... Your Odoe..... If you're trying to grow it out fast just keep feeders in there all the time. I'm dumping between 30 and 40 rosies a DAY into a growout for 6 Odoe and a few other Characins. I'd keep feeders in there till 4 inches or so, once it gets bulked up then try to break it. May have to starve for a while to break onto dead food..... Not really sure. These will be my first venture into breaking Odoe.

take that pill and split it with your faithful
But "dithers" will probobly be needed, which is why the Armatus are being raised with 1/2 dozen Odoe, but since the Odoe don't move enough to occupy the Armatus's attention a shoal of 7 non stop moving Dorado will more then likely end up in the 10x4 I plan on dusting off and housing them in till I can build a decent sized tank. These fish are all in house now... No "Someday I'll get...."
