Haha,a man's palace is not complete without a good throne.

Are tanks megabux down there? I don't really have a clue, I'm guessing in the ritzy areas you might be able to get commercial ones.

Not sure about commercial tanks yet, but just getting one to the island might be a serious undertaking.
I was thinking more in terms of finding a long/thick piece of glass and building the back and sides from stone siliconed together, keeping it outside, in the shade, and under a rain gutter. During the rainy season, it rains almost nightly, so at least at that time major auto water changes would be a breeze.

Rumor has it, there are 3 natural freshwater pools near the top of the island, and there may be killifish that sometimes live (or a least lay eggs in) trees during the dry season so we went to find them, made it about halfway up and turned back.
The rainy season has started turning dry stream beds to torrents, it may rain 30 minutes, or 4 hours straight, once per day, or multiple day/night downpours.

Beside the Dendrates poison dart frogs, it brings out large groups of cane toads that go into amphiplexus at just about any moving or standing puddle.

Those cane toads seem to be all over that region.I saw a good bit of them in Puerto Rico.
