If he dosent put anything into the water, which I dont see why he would considering all hes doing is moving lake fish into the same type of water just a few yards away.
Careful not to release none natives into the lake. DFG could shut you down FYI for pumping into a "Natural Lake" from a artifical pond.. I like hte idea, just make sure the "Man" doesnt shut ya down after you have time and money in it.

I know there are people on here that do this and I havent said anything before, but this is a bad idea. Pumping water from the lake is not such a big deal, but discharging back into it is super illegal without a permit, (Clean Water Act, 1972, 1987). Check with the proper authorities and get a permit first..... by the way "proper authorities" is not your buddy who is a park ranger, i would start with the MPCA, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
