That commercial might have just passed the torch to Eli. As Eli's career starts to take off, Peyton's slowly starts to spiral downward. lol. Or maybe Peyton just needs to start saying "no" to some commercials. His answering machine right now just says "Yes, I'll do it!"

on the topic of peyton manning, does anybody listen to sports radio? , personally listen to howard eskin everyday at work and he brings up some good points about peyton.
#1- way overdone and overpraised for the amount of skill he has
#2- compared to the great Qb's of all time on espn and other places but he doesn't get the big plays done when it really counts (playoffs).
if you watch the games you know.- they won the suprebowl do to rushing and defence, not passing. and he's no one compared to brady and farve.
peyton is constantly advetised on ESPN and everywhere as the clutch suprer QB when he really isn't. he's skilled and good- but nowhere near as good as he's cracked up to be.

I think this at times about Peyton. Everyone talks about how great he is at calling plays at the line and how his offense is so complex. But, it really is the basic offenses that are winning games. All of the Patriots plays are 5 yard dump and runs. All of the top teams seem to be using quick slant passes and that's about all. Since you can't touch WR after 5 yards it makes this offense very effective.
Yes, Peyton has won a Super Bowl, but so has Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson.
I understand why people would think he's overrated. The thing that he has going for him, is that he is very likable.
Peyton Manning is the best QB in the league right now....Brady is a close second, followed by maybe Carson Palmer? Wait till the end of next season, and when two of those three have bad, or not that great of year, the 1 left will still be the same....And then the next season, he will be great again, because he is great. Hype is what would make someone say he is not the best, because it is a new thing that Brady had such a good season and also MOSS.....Harrison missed the whole season. If you think A QB does not need his best receiver you're mistaken. I HATE the Colts, but come the heck on! You put Peyton on the Patriots...They would win till the wheels fell off....

#3 peyton and #3 is EXTremely generous.
and great Qb's can go for yards and Td's with any receiver not just a stud like harrison, ESPN puts him up with legends like marino, and people like him are there for constant great performance if they had a great reciever or just good one, and peyton can't be said in the same sentence as them or brady, brady gets the job done where it counts 3 SB rings say it all, peytons post season record is like 7-7, that's nowhere near great and barely even good.
