We have the first pick where people are telling us to take Stafford, but no one is really sure if he's good or not. We have the most picks to offer for him and not only do you not get him, but he goes to another team, inside your division.

You wouldn't take Cassel, who you could've gotten for a second round draft pick. Yet you would to trade mulitple first round picks for Cutler, who may be a head case. Though you wanted them to build the rest of the team first and get a QB later on down the road.
