I've been a 49ers fan since I was a boy, same with my wife. Our family spent xmas eve in Seattle at the 49ers @ Seahawks game if that tells you anything lol.. Not a packers fanboy at all but I was really taken back by how well Flynn did too. I am curious where he will end up myself.
Hard to say, I think over half the league either needs a QB or are not happy with the QB they got. Some will have to do with whether or not any of the big three Junior QB prospects decide to say in college.
Maybe SF, may be the only thing keeping the 49ers from being an elite team.
Do any of you think that he may go to the Chiefs? They have a draft pick that's going to make it tough to get a starter-worthy rookie QB.
Gotta see what's happening with that coaching staff. Some speculation that Romeo Crennell will be kept on as coach and Scott Pioli will bring in Josh Mcdaniels as OC, this would be good for Casssel.
How about the Polians being let go by the Colts. Going total rebuild maybe. Manning becoming a FA or will colts pay him 28 million just to trade him away.
Valid point about the Chiefs coaching staff; I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.
I think that the Colts will let Manning become a free agent before they pay him just to trade him. Of course then, they could decide to keep him depending on his health and performance. I personally think that Manning should retire and take up coaching as a QB coach.
I think if the doctors clear Manning to play he should go be the Dolphins QB fro the next few years
After this years performance by the Packers offense the OC and QB coaches there could be looked at as possible head coaching candidates. If one were to be hired, he may want to bring Flynn along with him. Should be an interesting off season.
Well, it looks like I'm 0/1 for the Wild Card game results thus far (Bengals over Texans ended up being wrong), but that's a good thing in hindsight considering that the Steelers will play the Patriots provided that they defeat the Broncos. The Lions/Saints game seems to be pretty competitive thus far, so I'm curious to see if my prediction proves true (Saints over Lions); as for tomorrow, I'm still thinking Falcons over Giants and Steelers over Broncos.
