All I needed SF to do was cover the 6.5 point spred. I picked two teams this week that won and didn't cover Giants and Cincinnati but I was able to get the win with Baltimore +2.5 so I needed this one. Seattle also came through stomping Dallas. I need Denver to hold the +3.5 tonight that they are spotting the Falocns to stay in contention. That should be a good game.

I'm curious to see how Dallas's season pans out. Last week I was talking about Dallas having geared it's team to beat the Giants this year but it might be their undoing. It'll be interesting to see if the other teams around the NFL capitalize on this. While the Giants are and important divison rival you only see them twice and you have still have to make it to post season. If I'm Dallas I would hope yesterdays game is an eye opener, in the NFL every game counts so don't put all your eggs in one basket.

I would also like to know what Tom Coughlin said to Greg Schiano at the end of the game. The Bucs rookie head coach got an ear full from a two time Super Bowl winning veteran of the NFL. The rest of the league notices that knid of stuff and you use it as a motavational tool next time around. It's a situation where the risk outweighs the reward. Schiano should be careful not to get a rep as cheap shot artist where every team in the NFL is going to T off on them every chance they get.

^ i think it'll help his young team. it'll give them a lil swag and moxie and start that chip on the shoulder attitude. i mean, what do you expect from a coach from rutger? not like he came from lollipops and sunshine harvard.

i like all your points though. good luck tonight

people should take note.....Seattle is one of the hardest place in the league to come into and play regardless of how the team is doing that year because of the crowd. year in and year out top opponents come in and leave with an L and complain about how rough the environment. i'm willing to give dallas a pass on that one.

I agree Seattel is a tough place to play, too bad for them they can't play all their games at home.

I also think a coach like Schiano is what TB needs he brings the Jersy additude with him. A few people I know that know him don't have a lot nice things to say about him but that doesn't really matter. I never met the guy so I can't give an opinion on him one way or the other. What matters is if he can get the Bucs a winning season which I think he can do. With being a rookie head coach in the NFL you have to prove yourself while at the same time earning respect from your players and the rest of the league. It's a fine line and this being his second NFL game he also has to be carful of the message he sends around the league. TB has showed a vast improvement over last year and I hope Schiano does a good job with them.

Uh oh, Brian orakpo and Adam carriker are both out for the year. Yet another thing that hurts the skins sb chances :(

maybe not.the skins are deep at those positions, although they probably wont go far w/out Garcon. the cowboys always seem to have a tough time w seattle.kind of a letdown this week, but 1-1 on the road to start-not bad.

It is a tough loss for the Skins that I thought and still think could have a good season. We'll just have to see what the back ups can do. Look at the Giants back up RB Andre Brown's performance after Ahmad Bradshaw was injured. How many times have a starting QB been kncked out of the game and the back up comes in a picks the D apart. Things happen in the NFL we'll just have to wate and see what happens. No injury to any player is funny.
