After the game to describe the browns performance, I think optimistic is the right word. I think the browns need to pursue someone like Dwayne bowe or Greg Jennings. They'd do wonders for that offense.

I think that a lot of this comes down to who's coaching the QB, too. I would imagine that some of these "bad" new/newer QBs would do better under some other teams' coaching staff. I think that Tebow & McCoy are better suited for teams other than the ones that they're played for.

That's my point about Wilson and his stats. Could he put up better stats if the Seahawks weren't holding teams to 17 points a game? Right now I doubt it but if these guy truly think the game plan is to be down by 5 points with one minute left then Pete's calling the games brilliantly.

Can't wait for this weekends games!!!!!!

They'll probably have a #1 draft pick as leverage for any trade, so it wouldn't surprise me if they pull something off like that after the season is over. Then again, they might just use that #1 draft pick on a player that they don't need & cripple their team for yet another year.

Exactly. I do think that he has more potential than some of these other QBs, though, so I'll give him that.

Call me crazy, but I wouldn't mind seeing Tebow or McCoy (especially Tebow) get traded to the Steelers based on how things are looking this season; either one of them seem like a decent fit in the new offensive system in one capacity or another (Tebow as a back-up QB/fullback/RB; McCoy as a back-up QB). Tebow seems especially intriguing since he would be able to help out in the relatively lackluster running game.

Both those guys are free agents, so a trade isn't necessary. I could include mike Wallace on that list also. I also believe they'll get the #1 pick and it must go on the offensive side. They actually have a really good defense (they didn't have joe haden today, their best player) but I feel like they need another pass rusher. This is what I believe their needs going into the offseason and draft will be:

1) wide receiver
2) defensive end
3) offensive guard

if it were an interception, which i also agree with, then why would they not be 1-2?

i think you guys are getting my point, wilson's numbers so far are not good, not bad either, just not good. in recent years we've seen rookie QBs put up better numbers. in these same recent years....there's not been vary many QB busts. please list any of them that has come since the flacco/matt ryan years. we're talking picked in the first 2 rounds, no later

It wouldn't be 1-2 because if we're talking about a bad call that had an impact on the final score, how can you not include the B.S pass interference call that led to the packers only touchdown. That bad call is what gave them the lead and put Seattle down 5. So without that bad call, Seattle would have been up 7-6. If they were up they would have handed it off to beast mode and took time off the clock, instead of slinging it up into the end zone allowing the Packers to intercept the pass. I'm looking at the game as a whole and not the final play as most people are and have been. If you look at the entire game there were other bad calls that led to points on the board. So if everyone thinks the play at the end should have been over turned, (Which I do), Then the packers touchdown drive should have never happened either. If you take away both bad calls Seahawks still have the lead 7-6.. So in my eyes they should still be 2-1. A lot of people think different but most of them I have talked to didn't watch the game, they only see the last play that ESPN has had on a continuous loop.

I agree that now days there are a lot of QBs that put up good numbers in their rookie season. Some don't and still go on to do well, which I think Russell Wilson has potential. Some of these guys are older than 5 years but still were flops. David Carr (Texans), Matt Leinart (Cardinals), J.P Losman (Bills), Brady Quinn (Browns), And one of the biggest flops of all time JaMarcus Russell (Raiders). He laughed all the way to the bank while he flopped though..

GO CARDS.......

Hoping to see them get their first loss Sunday. Driving down from Denver to watch the Fins kick some bird butt first hand :headbang2:

Ehhh I don't really see it. Is it a coincidence that the unit he coaches is the worst part of the defense?
